We have two types of email addresses at Louisiana Biker. The most common is a forwarding email address, where emails sent to user@louisianabiker.com are never stored on our mail server, they are just routing into an existing email address. This allows casual users to have an @louisianabiker.com email address quickly and easily.
The second type is a POP account, which is a stand-alone email account with it's own mail spool. POP stands for Post Office Protocol, which is the internet standard for incoming emails. This type of account is used by Sales Reps and others who deal with customers and clients on a business basis. Mail is stored on our mail servers, and accessed from there. You can set up any standard email softward to send and receive mail from a Louisiana Biker POP account. but the quickest and easiest way is to use the WebMail interface. This also gives you access to other features such as a Calendar and Contacts. You can also set up Signatures for mail. POP accounts can also set up Auto-responders, and can be forwarded to other emails, but this is not recomended.
To use WebMail, you will need any Web Browser, and a Louisiana Biker POP account and password.
Simply go to the WebMail page, look for the link on the Staff WWW page that says: Access your @louisianabiker.com email via WebMail
Log in with your Louisiana Biker email address and and password, that's all there is to it.

When you first log in, you will see a pop up asking you to enter your Contact information. This will be your first name, last name, and a Display name. Normally the Display name would just be your first and last name, or it could be your common nickname, or some other discriptor.
Once Your name has been entered, there will be a Tour you can read through, this is recomennded. After this, and every other time you log in, you will see your email, in a fairly basic WebMail interface.
That's really all there is to it, Webmail is very simple and secure, and it allows you to access your Louisiana Biker POP account email from multiple devices.
